really meant a lot to me it truly is a
family here our site leader really works
to try to make sure that everyone here
feels as though they’re valued and that
their contributions to what we do on a
daily basis and the service to our
customers is exactly what they’re
looking for I think the biggest thing
that we have here at Floyd Grand Rapids
is the trust that our customers have in
us that we can solve their problems
we’re going to meet their needs we’re
going to meet their delivery
requirements we’re going to meet their
pricing requirements
they come to us with a problem we solve

here at Boyd diversity and inclusion is
very important to us making sure that
everyone is treated with respect

culture we are very fast-paced
manufacturing you have to be quick on
your feet and think of new ideas
when you have a problem or an issue we
will get a team together so we can
figure out the solution together
teamwork is very important collaborative
work it takes us all to make sure that
we get the product to the customer and
when the customer needs it
as an HR Manager my duties are
widespread from hiring to
finding talent and helping them find
their path that is my passion helping
people find where they want to grow to
within our company giving them the tools
that they need to be successful and the
training that they need to be able to
perform the job

when my company was acquired by the boy
and about a year ago I was a generalist
and since then I have now become the HR
Manager for another site and I help with
other sites with their recruiting it was
an exciting move for me so there is
definitely a lot of room for growth
within our company

and we also work on how we will produce0:15
and the safest the most economical way
Boyd is a company always looking into
the future looking what the market
shares are and what is trending and not
afraid to invest and to look into those
things so it makes things exciting to
work and you get to learn new materials
new processes my favorite part here with
Boyd is basically the team everyone here
takes very much pride in what they do
and are excited about doing that and
then sharing their knowledge as well
every day is something new we strive in
training and close one-on-one
uh relationship and I think that’s
what’s exciting because a lot of people
here with a boy take pride in what they
do and they enjoy teaching others what
they’ve learned
in their experience

something that really sticks out to me
at Boyd is the opportunity to grow
within the company definitely I like
being challenged and a lot of our
clients like to challenge us that makes
us better at what we do that’s one one
great thing about this company
as an engineer Tech I work really close
to our process engineers
estimating department and sales so I’m
very involved with a lot of the programs
coming in my input is asked on a daily
basis to make sure that before a project
gets launched it’s close as good as it’s
going to be before it hits a full
production
something real positive that I feel from
our customers is the feedback they
provide they’re really happy with the
work that that we do we’re really happy
with our response with certain things
carrying a customer say that we did
something good makes me feel good
so I’m truly happy here with Boyd and
I’m looking forward to continuing
growing within the company
